Procedure #
- Log in to the dashboard. The URL is
<your-website-address>/wp-admin. For example,https://website.com/wp-admin. - On the left menu bar, click Posts then Add New.
- Type in the page title and the content.
- Click the ⚙️ icon on the upper right and go to Post.
- Find the Categories setting and set the appropriate category.
Categories #
In most cases, default category will be News and Blog, but your website may have specific categories for certain content types.
- Set a Featured Image. This is the image that will display as an overlay or in social link posts.
- Click Publish in the upper right part of the screen. Review the changes and click Publish once ready.
